SMS Terms of Service

These SMS Terms of Service ("SMS Terms") govern the text messaging program operated by Shared Key Coverage, a DBA of Ctrl Shift Home LLC (the "Program"). By providing your mobile phone number and checking an SMS opt-in checkbox on our subscribe form, you agree to these SMS Terms, our Terms of Use, and our Privacy Policy.

1. Program description

The Program delivers educational content about shared-vehicle topics, named drivers, household auto coverage, and related informational subjects. We offer two separate SMS categories: (a) transactional account notifications and (b) marketing tips and updates. Each category requires its own separate consent. Shared Key Coverage is an informational publication only and is not an insurance company, agent, broker, or marketplace.

2. How to opt in

Visit our subscribe page, provide your mobile number, and check the SMS box(es) for the category or categories you want to receive. Each checkbox is unchecked by default. Consent is not a condition of accessing any content on the Site.

3. Message frequency

Marketing messages: up to approximately four (4) messages per month. Transactional messages: sent only in response to your actions (such as opt-in confirmation or HELP replies). Frequency may vary.

4. Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your plan. Shared Key Coverage is not responsible for charges imposed by your carrier.

5. Opt-out keywords

You may opt out of the Program at any time by replying with any of the following keywords to any message you receive from us:

• STOP
• UNSUBSCRIBE
• CANCEL
• END
• QUIT

We will process your opt-out immediately and send a single confirmation message acknowledging your request. No further marketing or transactional messages will be sent after opt-out, except as required to confirm the opt-out itself. To rejoin the Program later, return to the subscribe page and opt in again.

7. Welcome message

After you opt in, you will receive a welcome message that identifies Shared Key Coverage, describes the message category you opted into, states the message frequency, notes that message and data rates may apply, reminds you that you can reply STOP to cancel, and confirms that Shared Key Coverage is not an insurance company or insurance agent.

8. Supported carriers

The Program is available on most major U.S. mobile carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Privacy and data sharing

Your phone number, opt-in record, and any other information collected through the Program are governed by our Privacy Policy. Shared Key Coverage does not sell, rent, share, or transfer your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in data, or any related information to insurance carriers, insurance agents, insurance brokers, lead aggregators, comparison platforms, third-party marketers, or affiliates, for any purpose, including marketing. SMS opt-in data will not be shared with third parties.

10. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and the authorized account holder or user of the mobile number provided to enroll in the Program.

11. Changes to the Program

We may modify or terminate the Program or these SMS Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the Site and, where appropriate, by text.
